Mold & Mycotoxin Detection Kit
Mold & Mycotoxin Detection Kit
Traditional mold testing does not detect the hidden mycotoxins that could be lurking in your home. Since mycotoxins can survive even after mold has been successfully removed, it’s important to test for mycotoxins if you suspect that you or your family may be experiencing Building Related Illness.

What Real Customers Are Saying
Megan R.
"I had no idea that mycotoxins could linger even after visible mold was gone. This kit gave us clear lab results and helped explain why I still wasn’t feeling right in certain rooms. Simple to use and totally worth it."
James T.
"We tested our kids' playroom and were shocked. There was no visible mold, but the results showed mycotoxins in the dust. I’m so glad we tested. Now we know where to focus our next steps."
Alana D.
"The kit was straightforward. I followed the instructions and had results emailed in just a few days. It was the confirmation I needed to move forward with a plan."

The first LC/MS Home Mycotoxin Test
Most kits check for visible mold. We go further—targeting mycotoxins, the toxic chemicals mold leaves behind, even after it's been cleaned up.
The Superstratum Detection Kit uses Liquid Chromatography (LC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS), the same technology used in pharmaceutical and food safety labs, to deliver high-precision results from dust and surface samples. This method is extremely accurate and avoids the fales positives of PCR based mycotoxins testing.
What makes us different?
✔ Detects toxic mycotoxins and not just mold
✔ Lab-grade science (LC–MS)—avoids inaccurate PCR methods
✔ Finds hidden contamination that mold tests miss
✔ Actionable results to guide your next steps
This isn't just about mold—it's about getting the full picture of your home so you can restore it to health.

For Visible or Suspected Mold
Use this method when you can see mold or suspect it’s growing in a specific spot. It focuses on high-risk areas to help identify potential contamination at the source.
Instructions:
1. Mold Tape Sample
- Remove the tape from its clear plastic holder (keep the holder).
- Locate the visible or suspected mold area.
- Peel off the clear plastic cover.
- Press the sticky side of the tape directly onto the mold.
- Return the tape to its plastic holder (leave the cover off).
2. Mycotoxin Swab Sample
- Swab the same area you tested with the tape.
- Use both sides of the swab and apply firm pressure.
- The dirtier the swab, the better the results.

For Dust & Hidden Contamination
Use this method to get a broader understanding of your home’s overall air quality. It’s best if you don’t see visible mold but still feel unwell or suspect hidden issues.

- Pick a dusty area like a shelf, baseboard, or vent.
- Peel off the clear plastic cover.
- Press the sticky side of the tape firmly onto the surface.
- Return the tape to the plastic holder.
2. Mycotoxin Swab Sample
- Choose dusty surfaces in multiple rooms (baseboards, ceiling fans, door jambs).
- Wipe approximately one foot with one side of the swab.
- Repeat using the other side.
- Sample multiple rooms for the most accurate overview.
- Record how many rooms you swabbed on the Chain of Custody form.

What exactly does this kit test for?
What exactly does this kit test for?
The Superstratum Detection Kit tests for mold spores (via tape sample) and mycotoxins (via swab sample). Mycotoxins are toxic compounds produced by certain molds and can remain on surfaces long after mold is removed.
What is LC/MS testing and why does it matter?
What is LC/MS testing and why does it matter?
LC/MS stands for Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry. It’s a gold-standard laboratory method used to detect and measure microscopic mycotoxins that traditional mold tests miss.
Can I use this kit even if I don’t see mold?

Mycotoxins are harmful even at extremely low concentrations—often measured in single-digit parts per billion (ppb), according to government guidelines. Our lab-verified results detect these toxins with high precision, giving you clear, reliable insight into the presence of dangerous mycotoxins in your home.
