Place the hygrometer in a key area (start with bathrooms, laundry rooms, and bedrooms)

Let it sit for at least 2–3 hours for accurate readings

Check the humidity % regularly

If levels rise above 50%, take action—use a dehumidifier or address moisture sources immediately
